There isn't enough fluffy fantasy novels out there. I feel like once a month I get in the mood to read just a straight up FUN book, (like Rebel Belle or Also Known As) this one will be my next pick when the mood strikes.Kayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03788568691345783808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4932292247636823526.post-49254188858024214852014-08-27T22:34:24.962-04:002014-08-27T22:34:24.962-04:00Woohoo! I kept going back on forth on this one since I couldn't get a clear image of how much fantasy there was versus historical fiction elements, so thank you so much for clearing that up :DAnya @ On Starships and Dragonwingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11966260114472122150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4932292247636823526.post-20342510509124542872014-08-27T09:08:30.416-04:002014-08-27T09:08:30.416-04:00This is the first review I've seen for Illusio...This is the first review I've seen for Illusions of Fate, and I'm happy you enjoyed it, Gillian. Thinking I'll have to go buy this book on release day... Also, how beautiful is that cover???Emmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17561861156323120664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4932292247636823526.post-71053211691774552602014-08-27T00:00:48.380-04:002014-08-27T00:00:48.380-04:00Considering how much Fable 3 I play (which takes p...Considering how much Fable 3 I play (which takes place in a country that is called Albion), I'm distracted by the name. To be fair, it's an old, old name for Great Britain. BUT you have excellent taste in books, so if you're okay with the semi-insta-love, then I best give it a try. The cover really does make my eyes turn to hearts (emojiiii). And I'm sorry but sparklemagicshadowbantersquee is my new favorite phrase. Yayyyyyy! Have you read Courtship and Curses by Marissa Doyle? I think you'd really like it based on this book! Regency England-ish with witches and an amazing scene stealer named Parthenope who sounds a lot like Eleanor! Plus banter and a feisty heroine with a disability. I didn't know it was part of a series when I found it in the library, but it didn't seem to make a difference.Morgan @ The Bookish Beaglehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05455877395068242798noreply@blogger.com
