Book Haul Vlog!

Without further ado, here's my FIRST EVER vlog, in which I show off my face so that everyone at Book Expo America next week can recognize me, stumble over the words "book blogger problems" at least three times, and then at the end forget how to turn off the camera. Oh, and my dog Ginger makes a special appearance.

  2. Good luck with The Ward. You can play the evil sentence drinking game! If you want to get really hammered, then you should drink every time she mentions her breathing, whether she's aware of it or not.

    LOOK AT GINGER!!!

My little ginger is pissed at me right now. He's just been taken to my parents and he HATES leaving my house and me. Wahhhh.

    You're like me: long vlogs.

It is a good problem to have. I like having e-copy and physical. They're also still books. Bahaha.

A Corner of White was weird, but some people loved it. The humor in this just didn't work for me. :/ Published by Scholastic!

"That is a lie. I'm not open-minded." *snorts* I actually laughed out loud.

    Rise is ALSO a sequel.

This is what I'm like with Percy: DON'T YOU WANT TO BE INTERESTING?!?!?!!?

Now I know your face, so I can recognize you on Tuesday. WOOOOOOOOO

    1. Yeah, I know The Ward is rife with the Evil Sentence, but I still hold out hope.

Ginger is NOT going to be happy about this coming week, not happy at all. And SERIOUSLY, she is a one dog comedy act 99& of the time, but the second I set up the camera, suddenly it's naptime.

I'm hoping I learn to be more concise with vlogs, considering I just sat down and started talking for this one without even thinking. Holding out hope for A Corner of White. I loved The Year of Secret Assignments. And yeah, I knew that about Rise. I haven't read a single one of her books before.

Haha glad I made you laugh! GLAD WE CAN RECOGNIZE EACH OTHER!

  3. First off, I am totally jealous of you, since you get to go to BEA. Second, I am still jealous, because I freakin' got no books at all this week...except some e-books, but STILL.
Third, you are a much better vlogger than I ever could be. And I know that for a fact, because I actually attempted it once.

    Great post!

    1. E-books count! Thanks! I'm glad you think this is a good vlog, because I basically just sat down in front of my computer and started babbling. That was my entire methodology here.

    1. CREEPY SPAM POST IS GONE AND SHALL NEVER BEEN SEEN AGAIN. I've been getting flooded by spambots lately, I don't know what's up.

  5. SO GLAD I KNOW WHAT YOUR FACE NOW LOOKS LIKE. Much easier when I come to Southern California again, which I will. Now that we found each other you're stuck with me.

Impressively I edited that to sound less creepy. Like I could scare you away by now or something. :P

    Excellent first vlog.

  6. I'm not going to BEA so does it make it better that I'm so happy you made the vlog so that I can SEE YOUR FACE MOVE AS I HEAR WORDS COMING OUT OF YOUR MOUTH? Does that sound creepy? Shelver always says I'm too creepy, but at least I wasn't like her ^ although close...and if I was going to Cali, I'd probably say the same thing...

AND I GOT MY OWN VIDEO. Yes, I feel very special ^_^ However, I never realized how weird it is to hear myself being referenced, but it being with my fake name. I like it. Just...weird, you know? I've never actually heard it. BUT I FEEL SPECIAL AND I'M SMIIIILING :)

    1. You're, like, totally so sweet and, like, awesome. Wow, Valley Girl is kind of exhausting. I'm so amped for those books. I wish I had the time to read them all RIGHT NOW.
