It's been so long since I did a TTT but I really liked this week's topic and I HAVE SOME DEMANDS OF THE UNIVERSE THAT MUST BE ANSWERED

Yes I would abuse this power frequently and unethically
12. Time travel abilities so I can jump to the future and read books that don't come out for ages
I know that awful things happen to wizards that meddle with time BUT THE TEMPTATION IS GREAT
13. The power to magically uncover fan fiction that is precisely how the original author would have written it so it's perfectly in canon
So I can read canon sequels and canon extra make out scenes and see how all my faves are doing in the future okay
14. The ability to make sure all my fave books become movies
THAT ACTUALLY DO THEM JUSTICE
15. MAKE. HOGWARTS. REAL.

Love this list, Gillian. I agree that Hogwarts should be made real! (And all the other fictional worlds). I visited The Wizarding World of Harry Potter this summer and the beauty of it was just so surreal. I didn't want to leave. I would also love to have Belle's library, but not with Belle's books. I'd have to restock allllll those shelves with my own book picks. :)

I super love this list especially the HP focus of it all and also WHY CANT WE HAVE DRAGONS WHY IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK IT DOESNT SEEM LIKE IT SHOULD BE THIS IMPOSSIBLE

ReplyDeleteChristmas at Hogwarts would be AMAZING! I think that there is some castle in Poland where people LARP and attend Hogwarts or sleepover or something.

ReplyDeleteI 100% agree with you on numbers 1-4. I would especially LOVE to see a prequel with the Marauders and a spin-off with the second-generation/kids. Also, Belle's library, please!!!! That would DEFINITELY solve the "no more room for books" issue!
ReplyDeleteThat....actually sounds cool: Canonize some fanfictions. There are some wonderful ideas out there, and I wish it wasn't such a legal battle for an author to come long, drop off a royalty check to them and include their story into the universe. One of my favorite things about Star Trek is that there are novelizations of Star Trek adventures. Now, they are not canon, but I really wish some of them were, because it would help enrich the universe that we all love.
