Book Haul, or the One With All the HarperTeen Titles

So this was a super exciting week for me, because I got whitelisted for all of Harper's teen titles on Edelweiss! *cue shrieks and screams and not-at-all-embarassing flails* Basically, this means I've got access to all the books that they put there for review. Which is... kind pf the most awesomest thing to ever happen to me. I actually cried. No, I actually did.

So I told myself I'd be responsible and NOT go tearing through Edelweiss like a kid in a candy store, swiping e-galleys into my virtual shopping cart left, right, and center. I did it properly. I made a list, with titles and release dates, seeing how all these shiny new pretties could possibly fit into my review schedule. I was going to limit myself, I said. I was going to do this responsibly, I said.

Yeah...

*has not one single regret*

I also got this awesome Courtney Summers anthology, which I won from my buddy Christina at A Reader of Fictions:

  1. Giiiiiiiiiiirl I went nuts too over those HarperTeen titles - just in case it was a glitch in the system! Can't wait to see what we all think. I should probably get Death Sworn too, because why not?

  2. Hahaha, I've pretty much avoided EW since I saw that I got all the titles. I've got like 15 library books that I want to read and I'm afraid if I download them all I'm going to get too overwhelmed. BUT YAY FOR HARPERTEEN!

  3. I am both excited for you and crying in jealousy because there are at least 6 books on that list I am dying for and I know I'll never get approved because I'm such a newbie blogger and am still not entirely sure how to use EW. Of course I'm so behind on all the books and it's just getting worse now that school has started I shouldn't even be dreaming about unreleased books.

  4. Pfff, you need more books than those :D I went a bit crazy on Edelweiss. <3 No regrets either :) SO happy that we both got autoapproved. <3 I would have cried if I did not get autoapproved, when everyone else did.. sniffs. But, thankfully, I did :D And yeah. I just about died too. Anyway. I hope you will love all of these. <3 Into the Still Blue was PERFECT.

  7. WHY AM I THE ONLY ONE INTERESTED IN ASK AGAIN LATER? Out of all my friends who got whitelisted, I haven't seen a single one interested in that the way I am. :( I haz a sad. Oh well! This is my second reminder I need to go download all the things.

But more importantly, COURTNEY SUMMERS. Oh my God oh my God oh my God... (I'm a serious Courtney fangirl.) I hope you love What Goes Around/the two novels in it a bunch because I'll be sad otherwise. She is just amazing. <3

  8. This is SO awesome. Although I have to admit, I'm a bit envious of you. I know I'll never get approved for half of these titles because I am such a newbie blogger. So I have to live vicariously through you and all the other lucky ducks who got auto-approved.Unfortunately I am horrifically behind on all the books. I hate being BEHIND!

  9. So I still don't understand how I did it but after also getting white listed for Harper I managed to restrict myself to TWO. There were so many that I'm still like "But.... I want that too." *sigh* Avalon and Panic and House of Ivy and Sorrow were ones I was on the fence about. Her Dark Curiosity too even though I wasn't a HUGE fan of The Madman's Daughter. Must. Restrain. Myself.
