  2. Christina! Your hair is so pretty! Congrats, Gillian. Your camera has the exclusive privilege of showing off Christina's new do to the rest of the world. Haha, your camera also makes Christina's voice sound a lot deeper. Crrreepy. Just in time for Halloween. (That doesn't make sense. Ignore it.)

Oh god, Teardrop. I saw that in the bookstore today. I ran away but then came back, because I was curious about the last sentence. It was something along the lines of "Because she was everything." x_x Classic LK heroine. She does it every time. You're not still reading this, are you? ARE YOU?

Touching The Surface. Someone mentioned that it is really reminiscent of Lauren Oliver's debut, Before I Fall. I think you haven't read that (yet?), but it's her best work to date, so if this is anything like it, you'll be good.

"We're totally cool people." Hahahaahahah, that was convincing.

"Let's all give a round of applause for stop licking meeee." Hokay.

I'm pretty sure that everyone who is watching / has watched / will watch this video wants to be on the opposite side of the screen.

Just admit that you're pie-eating hermits already. The hermit life is awesome.

OH LOOK GILLIAN FEET. I'm sorry. It's late here. Time to log off.

  3. Dear Gillian,

    I hate you.

    With Hate,
    Ashleigh

P.S. Yay for all the shiny books! But seriously, go to hell for getting The Impossible Knife of Memory. I'm bugging the shit out of my parents to tell me if a copy of it shows up at home. (Penguin only has my home address, so there won't be any college mailbox surprises of Penguin books unless they're things my parents forwarded without telling me.) *sobs in the corner with cotton candy-flavored ice cream*

P.P.S. You, Christina, Christina's hair, and Ginger are all especially adorable and fun today. I could grab a copy of Palace of Spies off Vine, but I'm not sure about it and I'm trying to get a little more precise with my Vine picks. Christina, I am very glad you had to resist crying at Freakboy because that's a kickass book and it entertains me you are the meanest awesome friend ever (in regards to Cress).

P.P.P.S. I worked from 11 AM to 7 PM on Cinderbeard and wasted maybe an hour's worth of time. Total word count for this session is 6,500 words. *dies* I have never been so productive in my life and I hope I can continue to be this productive so I can throw it at you as soon as possible. Buuuut until then, I'll torture you with my progress because that's what friends do.

  5. EEEEE, glad you get to read Cress, Gillian! And Palace of Spies looks really interesting - I didn't realize that was the new title. AND EEE, I really really liked Touching the Surface. I hope you do, too!

So glad you girls are having fun. Ginger? Is as adorable as ever. :D

  6. Hi Christina and Gillian! Yep, now that that's out of the way I can tell you how jealous I am of Cress! Gah, if I had grabby hands that would reach through the computer, I'd use them. Or if I had a genie. Yep, I went there. Now I just need some Christina singing Genie In a Bottle in the background. No, not that Christina...

  8. I have never heard of Touching the Surface and I don't believe I've ever read a book about the afterlife SO on the wishlist it goes. I had no idea Freakboy was verse and I'm a bit of a fan of verse SO will have to put that on my wishlist as well. I agree about the cover of Palace of Spies; the old one is way better. And oh my gosh your dog is hilarious. I loved after you took your hand off screen we could still hear him licking you. Lol
