Fairest Blog Tour, Bookmarks, and Giveaway!
Fairest is almost here! *tosses scary lunar confetti everywhere* Toss out your mirror and practice your bitchface, because very soon, Queen Levana's story will be upon us (January 27th, to be exact).
In this stunning bridge book between Cress and Winter in the bestselling Lunar Chronicles, Queen Levana’s story is finally told.
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who is the fairest of them all?
Fans of the Lunar Chronicles know Queen Levana as a ruler who uses her “glamour” to gain power. But long before she crossed paths with Cinder, Scarlet, and Cress, Levana lived a very different story—a story that has never been told … until now. Marissa Meyer spins yet another unforgettable tale about love and war, deceit and death.
This extraordinary book includes full-color art and an excerpt from Winter, the next book in the Lunar Chronicles series.
I bolded that last bit because OMG FULL-COLOR ART. AND WINTER.
To celebrate one of my favorite series, I decided to do one of my favorite things: art! I made some printable bookmarks to hold your place while you're blazing through Fairest (and three more to use if you win le giveaway and, um, decide to read all four books at once, I guess). The quote on the mirrored bookmark is taken from the first chapter of Fairest, which you can read HERE.
(Thanks to Meg from Cuddlebuggery for helping me figure out sort of how to do this? Technology is not my strong point and I had to Google like a champ to figure out how to make a printable thingymabob) Make sure you print this in landscape mode/whoozit thingy (I'm sorry, I should not be in charge of tech things) and then cut them out and don't cut yourself and voila! Bookmarks! If you have cardstock or heavier paper to print them on, that'd be ideal, but it's not imperative.
Make sure to check out the rest of the blog tour!

ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of this series, so I don't yet have a favorite.
ReplyDeleteI think that Winter will be my favorite but so far I have a soft spot for Cress. Those bookmarks are so cute girl! I am hoping hubby will get me one of your mugs for Valentines day. I keep pointing them out so we shall see, if not ill just grab it myself lol. i wish i was talented like you!
ReplyDeletehaven't read it yet, so no fav
ReplyDeleteThanks for the bookmarks! So much fun. :) I can't wait for Fairest... I want to learn more about the Lunar Queen. Then next comes Winter and I couldn't be more excited. I miss Thorne and Cress in a crazy way. Just thinking about them makes me want to re-read Cress.
ReplyDeleteLook at yoooooou, bein' all fancy! Those are some awesome bookmarks, my friend. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteOkay, to answer your question... I honestly think I like Cinder the best. She's just wicked awesome and smart. (But maybe that'll change when I meet Winter?)
Scarlet is my favorite! I love how fearless she is and how tough she is. :D
ReplyDeleteAw, shucks! Only US and Canada. Sigh. But don't worry - I have Cress at the library...somewhere. IT sounds soooo cool (gosh I missed out on a good one!)
ReplyDeleteYou're so fantastic, Gillian. I only have Cress left to read... been saving it so that the wait till Winter isn't quite so long!
ReplyDeleteCinder is my favorite. :D
ReplyDeleteYay! I've been wanting to read these books for a while. :)
ReplyDeleteSo far, still loving Cinder, but each book is better than the last so I have high hopes for Winter and Fairest! Will you be offering any more of this artwork on your Society6 page??
ReplyDeleteI don't know, this is kind of a hard one for me because I think that Cinder is absolutely kickass and amazing in so many ways, I think Winter and Fairest is going to be just as awesome.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting this! I've only read Cinder so far (I'm gonna wait for Winter to come out before I dive into the rest of the series. But so far I do love Cinder. From other snippets and reviews, I have a feeling that Scarlet might be my kind of girl though.
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely a toss-up between Cress and Scarlet. I love Scarlet for her spunk (I JUST USED THE WORD SPUNK O.O) but I love Cress for her genuine personality.
ReplyDeleteAnd you didn't ask, but my favorite Lunar Chronicles boy is Thorne. (Duh ;)) But he's closely followed by Wolf. THE BOYS. I AM DYING.
I love Cinder. Scarlet and Cress are awesome too, but there's something just so cool about Cinder's skills and attitudes.
ReplyDeleteOooh I love the bookmarks! I'd have to go with the far left one as my favorite though, especially once I saw the different lunar cycles behind the girls!
ReplyDeleteThose are some super awesome bookmarks and so cohesive with the books! :D
ReplyDeleteI have not gotten to read this series yet so I have no idea. But I want to read them! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI'm really hoping I will love Winter, but so far I think Scarlet is my favorite of the three girls. Cress is a close second, so she may overtake Scarlet in the last book!
ReplyDeleteCan you believe I haven't read Scarlet yet? It's been on my wishlist forever, but nobody has yet purchased it for me (under my budget, I cannot buy books for myself anymore. Also, no room on the bookshelves). But someday. SOMEDAY! From your epic bookmarks there, I see we have some ladies of non-white origin and that makes me excited. Although I'm also #TeamEvil by default. :D
ReplyDeleteCinder, I mean. I haven't read Cinder yet.
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely bookmarks!
ReplyDeleteI really really like Cress but that's just because I love love love Rapunzel!
ReplyDeleteI love all of the Lunar Chronicles ladies, but Cress is definitely my favourite (closely followed by Iko!).
ReplyDeleteI have not yet read these, but thank you so very much for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read this series yet but I want to so bad!!!
ReplyDeleteWell I've only read Cinder, but I think Cress will be my favourite because I love Rapunzel! Thanks for the giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteScarlet! Though I haven't read Cress yet!
ReplyDeleteCinder because she is so different and edgy yet humble! :D
ReplyDeleteMary G Loki
I haven't gotten to meet Cress yet, so Iko! Or Cinder. :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read this series yet, so no favorites. But hopefully this will change soon!
ReplyDeleteI gotta say Ciñder... :)

ReplyDeleteI haven't read the Lunar Chronicles yet but I can't wait too! The bookmarks are SO awesome!!
ReplyDeleteCinder! I haven't read Cress yet so it might change. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteCinder is definitely my favorite because she's a strong independent cyborg! ;)
ReplyDeletecinder or scarlet
ReplyDeleteI haven't started the series so I don't have a favorite yet, but I can't wait to find out:)
ReplyDeleteI've shamefully only read Cinder! But I will read the others this year (I think a series binge is in order)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THE BOOKMARKS! As always, you've created such eye-catching designs. Personally, I love the one with all four girls on it the best. Can't wait to read Fairest ;)
ReplyDeleteSorry to say I don't have a favorite, for I have no read the series yet. I plan to start Cinder in Feb though!! Hope I'm still eligible for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love Cinder the most so Far! (I haven't read Cress Yet)
ReplyDeleteI would have to say Cinder is my favorite! Thank you for this amazing chance! :)
ReplyDeleteScarlet, but I haven't read Cress yet :)
