Ladies and gentleman, the victors of the first annual SHIPPER GAMES!
A huuuuge number of people voted for their favorite OTPs to triumph, which totally blows my mind. Thanks for loving fictional love as much as I do, and for getting way too emotionally invested in whether or not made up people make out! I love you guys. Keep being awesome. LOOK AT MY TWO CRACKSHIPS W1NN1NG AT LIFE
ReplyDeleteI may have had way too much fun voting for my favorite ships!!!! ;) I love to see Cress and Thorne winning so many categories. I do think Winter is the shippiest book of all. Kaz and Inej NEED to get together. Seriously. I couldn't vote for Aelin and Rowan because I will always like Chaol more, even though I do love them. I do ship Shazi/Khalid a LOT. I am on season 2 of The 100 and I am really liking it. It took me a couple episodes into season 1 before I really got into the show. Okay, done rambling/fangirling.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting/creating The Shippy Awards! That trophy is wonderful. :D
I'm SOOOOOOO excited that Simon won so many awards! This was the shippiest book I read all year and one of the most adorable contemps I've read all year. I recommend it for ALL THE THINGS. Woohoo! :)
ReplyDeleteLoved The Shippy Awards! Thanks for doing them!!! <3
Gorgeous post Gillian. <3 I adore you for doing this. But.. well. I must be honest. I'm totally disappointed with almost ALL of the results :( SOBS. People have weird tastes, LOL :D But love that lots of people voted. <3 Hugs.
ReplyDeleteI just love that Dorian/Chaol won, and that is all. #YAStuckyForever
ReplyDeleteI like this hashtag. #YAStuckyForever
DeleteThe SHIIIIIIPS!!! Best awards ever, I'm sure they were a lot of work so THANK YOU for making them happen!!! But seriously, not Jacin/Winter love?! RUDE! I love that Cress/Thorne got Sci Fi ship and that Winter got Shippiest book though because REALLY.
ReplyDeleteRoblet and Simon and Blue!!!! Woohoo! I clearly need to hurry up and read The Winner's Crime and Six of Crows because that is a lot of shipping hardware.
I'm so proud of my cinnamon roll YA Stucky babes Dorian/Chaol <3 GO FORTH, PRECIOUS MEN, AND KISS ALREADY.
