I decided to stick to things I could actually do in the version of earth we're currently living in, so no "have magic powers", "be queen" "ride dragons" "travel back in time"
I'm also leaving out things like "have a bosom friend" or "fall in love" and "be all that you can be" and "topple dictatorships" because...wait that last one has way too much relevance. Definitely that one.
Visit Antarctica
Live in a castle or an old historical house
Tend a garden
Ride horses
also kiss princess and kick ass and BE ALANNA OKAY
Attend a ball
Be British
Live in a quaint and beautiful village
Visit Russia

Be a governess (wtf Gillian no)
Live on a ship AS LORD OF THE HIGH SEAS
Have a huge family
Live in a library
Write letters
Go to boarding school
Live abroad/speak several languages

Boarding school! Speaking other languages! Live in a Library!
ReplyDeleteI love all those choices from your list this week! :D
Wow! :) Those are really really good choices! :) I think having realistic answers to this week's TTT is the best way to go, because it can be a real inspiration! :D
ReplyDeleteOh oh yes I want to eat oreos SO BAD after Simons!! Particularly since I've never had a real one. (Like, knock-off oreos are awful, ew.) And yesss, turkish delight is awesome but probably wouldn't sell my soul for it either. Poor Edmund. I think he needed a bit of love and perhaps counselling???? Serious counselling...ahem.
ReplyDeleteAND RUSSIA YES PLEASE ME TOO. I'm dying to go to Russia!!
Here's my TTT!
LIVE IN A LIBRARY!! OWN A BOOKSTORE AND BE BRITISH!! ALL THE YESSS!!!
ReplyDeleteI am still waiting for the ability to speak to animals to fall in my lap. :D
ReplyDeleteStephanie Perkins books made my want to learn French, and travel to Paris. I think it would have been cool to be able to spend my high school years in France. Great Top Ten! :D
ReplyDeleteMy Top Ten Tuesday!
I love horses! I wish I had one of my own but for the moment, I have to settle for riding at my local stables. I am British, not gonna lie, it's pretty awesome :) I think we all want to live in a library!

"also kiss princess" I know this is a typo but I was so excited for both you and Alanna for a minute there
ReplyDeletep.s. come back here and we'll go camping I HAVE SKILLS
Hahah I've always wanted to visit Antarctica but I don't think I would hold up well there.
ReplyDeleteHaha, love the "Be British". It would be so great to live in a library. Attend a Ball- dream of every classics lover. The Secret Garden really makes me want to tend a garden. Great list!
ReplyDeleteHere's mine:

"Be British." -- Can I do this too? :D
ReplyDeleteCan I live in a castle with you? We're have the grandest library and be as British as possible. Maybe we can hire your grandmother Mary Berry to be our afternoon tea chef.
ReplyDeleteBE BRITISH. This is the most important item on the list.
Balls and quaint little villages, sign me up. I wish I could speak several languages and I wish I was better at keeping a diary/journal! It never lasts long. I did try a Georgia style one once where I attempted to write down my inane thoughts and the time they were written. It was a disaster hahaha.
Write letters <3 I love writing letters! SOLVE A MYSTERY, after reading the BSC book where Mallory finds an old diary in her attic (and also way too much Nancy Drew and Ghostwriters), I wanted to solve mysteries so bad.
CAN'T WAIT TO OPEN OUR BAKERY BOOKSHOP. Maybe it should be in a wing of our castle.
I think "Hobbit" would be the best to be a british
