Book Haul, or the One with Early Holiday Gifts (to Myself)
No vlog this week, since I ate enough pie to feed the entire population of Southern California and cannot find the energy. But I got quite a few books this week, both for myself and from lovely blogger friends.
Books received:
Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
The Naturals by Jennifer Lyn Barnes
Where the Stars Still Shine by Trish Doller
World After by Susan Ee
Blackout by Robinson Wells (thanks, Molli!)
A signed Shadowlands by Kate Brian (thanks, Lili!)
GINGER PICS! Plus a picture of the glorious apple pie I made.

I wish that I could reach through the screen and grab a piece of your pie because it looks AMAZING.I meant it when I said you were a wizard. Ginger is adorable as always and what an excellent haul you have. Happy reading!!
ReplyDeleteI liked The Naturals a lot! It's a ton of fun and just the right amount of creepy, even if it is really far fetched, I still kinda loved it! Hope you like it as much!

Omg I love the leaves and pumpkins on that pie!!! Did you use a cutter or something or make them all by hand??
ReplyDeleteI don't even like pie, but the one you made looks amazing!! Anyways, Where the Stars Still Shine is AMAZING LIKE WOW and I hope you love it (if you haven't read it yet). I also adored Shadowlands, and it's got a crazy ending so I can't wait to hear what you think!
ReplyDeleteEeee I really liked Shadowlands. I mean, it was really weird. Really weird. But I liked it. And I got the sequel this week!
ReplyDeleteOoooh that apple pie looks amazing and I love those little leaf cutouts! Ah, and pumpkins too! Adorable.
ReplyDeleteI need to get around to reading Eleanor & Park. And Fangirl. I'm falling behind on my Rowell reads. And oooh... World After. Look forward to hearing your thoughts on that one! :)
Look at Ginger failing at sitting! She's SO CUTE.
ReplyDeleteAlso, it's ridic how long it took me to figure out that you bought the first four. I was all "WHO DID YOU RECEIVE THIS FROM?" It was a mystery on the level of "where's Sunday?" (If you get that reference just from that, you win)
HOW IS THAT PIE EVEN POSSIBLE.
That pie looks AMAZING!! And aww Ginger is so adorable!
