It's been a long time since I've done a TTT! My criteria for this one was that every author had to have at least two books released, so no debuts, because then we'd be here all day.
Book I want to read next: Fiendish
Book I want to read next: Sanctum
Book I want to read next: The Summer I Turned Pretty
Book I want to read next: The Shadow Cabinet
Book I want to read next: Princess of Thorns
Book I want to read next: Stealing Parker
Book I want to read next: Meant to Be
Book I want to read next: This Song Will Save Your Life
Book I want to read next: The Disenchantments
Book I want to read next: Paranormalcy
Honorable mentions: Maria V. Snyder, Kim Culbertson, David Levithan, Andrew Smith, Mary E. Pearson.
I see you liked Illusions of fate, so I think you will also really like Paranormalcy! She uses the same ingredients there, with a snarky MC and humorous writing-style :) I loved This song will save your life, I should check out Past perfect.
ReplyDeleteI really liked Meant to Be, it was a really cute and funny book. And you get a really good idea of what London looks like. I've been to London, but it was still nice to get that London feel again through a book :)
ReplyDeleteI also really liked Paper Valentine by Benna Yovanoff, but her other books aren't really calling to me. Although I am marginally interested in Fiendish. Lauren Morrill is adorable. I personally liked Being Sloane Jacobs more than Meant to Be, but I still really liked both.
ReplyDeleteI had Jenny Han on my TTT too! I loved To All The Boys I've Loved Before and I heard her other series is really good too, but I'm REALLY excited for P.S. I Still Love You!
ReplyDeleteHad my list been longer, I think Jenny Han would've been added to my list; I really enjoyed To All the Boys I Loved Before :)
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
Girl, Brenna Yovanoff is GREAT. Her books are always so strange and unique (and STANDALONE). One of the coolest paranormal authors.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Nina LaCour! I didn't love The Disenchantments as I loved Hold Still (seriously so underrated).
And yes, the Paranormalcy books are so fun and fluffy and enjoyable. Must read!

Haha, I love how we did this post almost EXACTLY the same. ANYWAY YOU SHOULD KNOW WHICH NAME I AM MOST EXCITED ABOUT RIGHT NOW YES YOU SHOULD *cough* *dances*
ReplyDeleteI also put Leila Sales on my list, though I am the opposite of you, I've read TSWSYL but not Past Perfect. Giiiiirl TSWSYL is fabulous, but I suspect you know that.
MEANT TO BE IS ALSO THE FLUFFIEST HAPPIEST OF ALL THINGS. ♥ You will enjoy that banterfluff oh yes you will *cackles*
Gilly, I love how you set this post up!
ReplyDeleteI want you to LOVE TSWSYL so much. It was my favorite book last year. I haven't read Past Perfect yet, though, so I guess I'm the opposite of you!
If I'd done this list, Lauren Morrill would be on mine too. Your Being Sloane Jacobs review perfectly expresses why it's so awesome.
I've got some Brenna Yovanoff in my tbr and her books look really good. I need to get round to reading those soon. This Song Will Save Your Life is AMAZING! It's definitely one of my favourites this year, and I really want to read another book by Leila Sales now.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any books by most of these authors, but several are on my TBR list. So that is very promising. I loved the Winner's Curse. Haven't read the other book you mentioned, I'll have to look it up.
ReplyDeleteDreams @ Once Upon A Dream Books
I've also got some Nina on my list! I adored HOLD STILL, for what that's worth.
ReplyDeleteYou have so many books listed that I NEED to read!
